Technical Difficulties

I'm having a little FrontPage trouble... I won't be able to republish the site until Sunday or Monday. Thanks for your patience.

Hi Poets

We hope you made it back home without a hitch and the van didn't explode. I wish my name was Poet. OK, that means I'd have to take my wife's maiden name. Uhhh... we have just the right society for it anyway.

Finally Found it

Now... if this blog template is stable, I might just stick with it :)

Hurt

All of us have been hurt in our lives one way or another... all of us. The difference starts to show itself in how each of us respond to hurt. The very dissapointing thing about hurt to our human nature is that we will continue to get hurt one way or another. We must continue the process of forgiveness. Forgiveness is an ongoing process.

SNOW!!!

Dude... there is some serious snow on the ground. It has been a lot of years since we've had this much snow. I think we are heading for 2 feet. Now for all of you who live in Michigan or Fairbanks, Alaska don't mock me. We live in a very warm climate down here in Ketchikan and getting this much snow is unusual. If you live in Michigan or Fairbanks you deserve the 20 feet of snow you're getting.

Snow, Snow, Snow

We are getting dusted up here. Another K-town cold snappy. Just a little snappy, snap, snap-er-oo. Way better than rain.

Bennet/McGuire

Bob Bennett and Barry McGuire perform at the Ketchikan High School auditorium February 21st. I am one of the concert promoters and the guy overseeing sound. That means I work directly with Bob Bennett. I am the man. It is right and fitting that you are jealous. I don't blame you.

CCI

Do business with Capitol Communications Incorporated out of the Seattle area for CD's, DVD's and other audio needs. Great outfit and has always treated us (Clover Pass Church) right. I am obviously not being paid for my comments

I'm feeling a little unstable right now...

So, I have been thinking about the whole Apple mac thing. I have mentioned the fact that our next home computer might be a macintosh to several folks and I get weird looks. Yeah, I'm a feeler, a people pleaser, a throw it out there and see what you say kind of guy at times. Yes, I'm testing the water and yes, I've been barked at. I just want to know...
1. Does a mac have greater stability than a typical PC running windows XP?
2. Is a mac really easier to use?
3. Does a mac come ready to plug and play as they say? If so, is it easier to plug in your video camera and record and burn CD's/DVD's.
4. Does it have greater potential than a PC running "Cool Edit Pro" or what they now call "Adobe Audition?"
5. Are Word and Excel files really compatible?

Answer me that my man. I truly want to know.

So, I'm in search mode. I'm gonna find out if under the stylish Apple packaging these machines are better. If they are, I admit I have been duped. Otherwise, I guess I can keep my Windows smugness intact and pray that one day they really are better!

Check...

Here's a chickety check!

Test?
"Is this mic on?"
